Ariana Grande was among a slew of musicians who tribute Aretha Franklin at her funeral on Friday.
A large number of stars and dignitaries turned up to pay their respect to the late queen of soul, Aretha Franklin. Pop singer Ariana Grande, who says he career was influenced by the music legend, song at her funeral at Detroit’s Greater Grace Temple. Stars like Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill, Stevie Wonder, Fantasia, and Chaka Khan, all tribute the late singer who died earlier this month from a long battle with cancer.
Grande takes the stage dressed in a black mini-skirt to perform Aretha Franklin’s 1967 classic “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” Big Sean was also in the audience looking on as she performed the hit.
Bishop Charles H. Ellis III cracked a few jokes after her performance saying that he initially thought it was a new something at Taco Bell when he saw her name on the program. “When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell,” he said while admitting that he is just too old.
