XXXTentacion fans will get one last chance to view his body at a memorial service.
A post was sent out on the late rapper’s Instagram account on Saturday informing his fans about the planned memorial set for Wednesday (June 27) in Sunrise, Florida. The event will be held from 12 p.m to 6 p.m. and will be at the BB&T Stadium, home of the Florida Panthers. “Fans come out and say your final goodbyes… It will be your last chance to see him,” the message reads on IG.
XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was shot and killed on Monday, June 18, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Police have since arrested one man, 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams of Pompano Beach, and charged him with first-degree murder. Cops also put out a warrant for the arrest of two more suspects who are believed to be on the run.
X was shopping for a motorcycle at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach just moments before he was shot by the armed men in what is believed to be a robbery in broad daylight. XXXTentacion’s Louis Vuitton bag and more items were taken and the men fled the scene in a black SUV. There has been an outpouring of outcry from fans and other celebrities since his death.
The address for the memorial is 1 Panther Parkway, Sunrise Florida 33323.
