50 Cent says Mike Tyson is scaring kids ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
The boxing legend will get back into the ring tonight for his high-anticipated fight with Jake Paul, who transitioned from being a YouTuber to one of the leading boxers in the world currently. However, before the fight, the two almost got into a massive brawl at the weigh-in, where Mike Tyson slapped Paul for stepping on his toe.
50 Cent is not one to let a viral moment in the entertainment to go by without some trolling. He did just that with the Tyson and Paul weigh-in event when he shared the video on his Instagram, writing, “See you step on an older man’s feet, and sh– can get crazy. LOL.”
Fifty also shared a clip of 14-year-old Jazzy interviewing Mike Tyson while suggesting that the 58-year-old boxer is scaring children. “Got Damn it! Mike ya scaring the kids, WTF chill. Note to self, keep the kids away from Mike. @jazzysworldtv very professional baby,” Fif wrote.
In the interview, Jazzy probed Tyson about the contrast between ego and legacy. The boxer gets philosophical in his response, saying, “I don’t believe in the word legacy. I just think that’s another word for ego,” he said. “Legacy doesn’t mean nothing. That’s just a word everybody grabbed onto. Somebody said that word and everyone grabbed not the word so now it’s used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me.”
Tyson continues, “I’m just passing through. I’ma die and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that? What a big ego. So I’ma die and I want people to think that I’m this, I’m great? No. We’re nothing. We’re dead. We’re dust. We’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”
After some delays, the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight has finally arrived on Netflix starting at 8 p.m. EST. Some fans of the legend have questioned his decision to box someone less than half his age who is also a bit of a newcomer to boxing. Some folks also criticized Paul for entering the ring with someone they say is well past their prime. Nevertheless, the event is shaping up to be one for the ages.
