Vybz Kartel drops “Quick Quick Quick.”
It is a Friday, and what do all awesome teachers do on a Friday? They give a few minutes of rest time, which usually involves the telling of a story of some sort. The dancehall Teacha followed suit and treated his students to a story about his younger days on his new track “Quick Quick Quick.” Vybz Kartel reminisces about his encounter with an older woman and the teachings she bestowed upon him. His lessons become a source of empowerment and even employment for members of the transportation sector. Taxi operators all over the island should be blasting this one as Kartel, salutes their services to his womanizing endeavors during his younger days. Even the track’s artwork screams ‘transportation’ as we get a bright yellow background with a skimpily clad female climbing out of a taxi.
“Quick quick quick cabbie, yo a Addi pick up Thirty gyal for me inna the lobby / hey don’t stop fi nobody, just trod it, don’t lef no evidence destroy it,” sings Kartel before he breaks into a more melodic flow, ” Gyal is over there so put more on it, me make the taxi driver dem make nuff money / pick up yuh gyal anyweh carry har come a me / me make your precious wife can’t keep her promise.”
This most recent release comes from the Upfull Riddim, which is produced by the upcoming production house, Stillyet Productions.
