Megan Thee Stallion has secured her title as Granddaughter of the Year.
Now that the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper is believed to be worth $2.7 million, she is using that hard-earned dough to spoil her love ones. This time was the chance for her grandma, who she sweetly refers to as “Nanny.” On Wednesday, the pair headed to a Cadillac dealership where a very special surprise was waiting for her grandmother, wrapped in a red ribbon. Clearly overwhelmed by realizing that the white vehicle was for her, grandma began screaming and rushed over to the car. Tears flowed as she opened the driver’s seat, and rest her head on the doorframe. The gift was in gratitude for all the generosity that her Nanny has shown young Megan Thee Stallion as a child.
“Surprised my nanny with the brand new truck she had been wishing for,” the 24-year-old explained in the caption for the video. “She literally bought me everything in every color as a child she’s always been so generous to everyone she meets and she taught me the importance of always being kind ! I love you nanny I’m gonna give you everything you deserve.”
Grandma did good by instilling generosity of spirit in her granddaughter as Megan Thee Stallion paid it forward in Texas last week.
The Houston Food Bank was forced to throw away almost 2 million pounds of food that were contaminated by an ammonia leak just before Thanksgiving. More than 1 million people rely on the food bank for assistance, and Miss Stallion stepped up to help them out. The hip hop artist donated over 1,000 turkeys to families in Houston so they wouldn’t miss out over the annual holiday.
“I landed right off my flight and came straight to the @houstonfoodbank and hotties we’ve already donated over 1,000 turkeys,” she wrote alongside a video of herself at the food bank.
We think it’s all grandma’s influence.
