Buju Banton’s Gargamel Music is gearing up to stage three pop-up shops for the superstar’s official clothing line dubbed ‘Everything BB,’ beginning the end of this month, in Miami.
The pop-up shop is the first for Buju’s clothing line and will be at a temporary retail spot in Wynwood Miami, from November 29 to December 1. It is expected to provide fans of the Stamina Daddy’ the chance to purchase official Buju Banton merchandise, as well as a few exclusives from his upcoming 2020 merchandise line. The Everything BB brand was established in 2017 ahead of Buju’s release from a US prison. Merchandise from the line are available for purchase on the official website, as well as at his Long Walk to Freedom Tour concerts.
According to the description on the line’s official website, everything BB ‘delivers a message of love, peace, and music through fashion’ and that ‘it has embarked on a tedious journey to communicate his message through pieces that are representative of his music and our culture.’
Officials from Everything BB say the pop-up experience is yet another way of deepening engagement with customers beyond its online presence and that the line is ‘perfect for those who identify with a conscious lifestyle and silently want to make a statement without speaking.’
In June this year, Buju released branded merchandise in the form of a new t-shirt line in collaboration with apparel company Supreme. The shirts, which are available in colors such as red, white, green, black, and orange, have his image emblazoned on them, and the phrase “Supreme forward even stand firm, Jah Love” printed at the back. They are being sold online at present, for between US$100.00 to US$147.00, and even more on some websites.
