T.I. is already dominating the podcast game after the first week.

T.I.’s brand new podcast titled expediTIously is already a hit after debuting its first episode last week on September 5. The show that was created to discuss social justice issues shot to number one on the Apple music charts.

The first guests on expediTIously that is produced through PodcastOne were L.L. Cool J, Ice Cube, and Tip’s wife Tameka Harris, also known as Tiny. According to the episode description, “The fellas share never before heard stories about how they transitioned from kids who rapped in the hood, into mega superstar MC’s and their evolution into successful businessmen.”

The Atlanta trap rapper turned media mogul told PEOPLE before the podcast launch that he “looked at my interactions on social media and realized that that platform wasn’t robust enough to flush out my ideas. In order to give those ideas a fair chance to breathe, I think my opinion requires a little more time and dialogue.”

Back in July, Urban Islandz reported that Joe Budden broke the news of the podcast on his own platform after running into T.I. at a New York night club. A second episode of expediTIously dropped the same day featuring Rick Ross as the two discussed snitching.

The 38-year-old celebrated the shows success by posting the Apple chart results on Instagram the day after the premiere. “Well that was a short ride to the top wasn’t it ? #ExpediTIously Thank Y’all sincerely….Just the beginning… Wait til you see what’s next,” he wrote. TIP is already selling merch to accompany the show.

T.I. has another media endeavor on its way with the forthcoming Netflix show Rhythm + Flow is set to debut in October with cohosts Chance the Rapper and Cardi B.
