Drake is also a huge fan of Game of Thrones just like everyone else on the planet that watches TV.
The Canadian rapper gave Arya Stark a huge shoutout for killing the Night King, during his acceptance speech at Wednesday’s Billboard Music Awards. Drake is always an unpredictable figure when it comes to awards shows. At this year’s Grammys, his speech was cut short after he took shots at the most popular music award show on the planet.
In striking a different tone, Drizzy offered a more positive acceptance speech at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. He was accepting the trophy for Top Billboard 200 Album for his album Scorpion.
The “In My Feelings” rapper received loud cheers from the audience when he surprisingly shoutout Arya Stark, the fictional character in Game Of Thrones who is being hailed a hero in the HBO series and real life. “Shoutout to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week,” Drake said. Arya Stark is played by British actress Maisie Williams.
Well done Arya Stark and well done Drake.
