Watch Nicki Minaj ‘Bruk It Down’ For Her Man To Her Favorite Dancehall Classics

Nicki Minaj new man

Nicki Minaj is living her best life with her new man Kenneth Petty.

After taking a few subliminal shots on Twitter yesterday towards her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj took to the Gram on Thursday to show us that she can “Bruk It Down.” The Queen rapper posted two video clips of herself dancing with Petty. One of the clips had Shabba Ranks classic “Ting-A-Ling” blaring out the speakers while she and her girls turn up. The other clip saw Nicki taking over the dance floor to Mr. Vegas mega-hit “Bruk It Down.”

Nicki Minaj has never been shy about her love for dancehall music. She recently collaborated with Vybz Kartel and Stylo G on “Touch Down” remix where she delivered a fiery verse over a catchy dancehall beat. Being born in Trinidad and grew up in Queens, Nicki pretty much grew up on dancehall music before becoming a household name as the leading female rapper in the game for the past decade.

The Young Money rapper got some heat on social media this week for her new boyfriend who turns out to be not so new and is also a registered sex offender. Petty was convicted for attempted rape and spent four years in NY state prison. His rap sheet didn’t end there; he also spent seven years in prison for a manslaughter conviction for shooting a man. He also has close to a dozen mugshots for various crimes over the years.

Despite his decorated past, Nicki Minaj had defended Petty saying that the sexual offense case was when he was sixteen years old, and he has changed his life since then. She is also brushing off the critics saying that people do change and deserve second chances. She is even threatening to sue a Daily Mail journalist for suggesting that she has a habit of supporting convicted rapists.

In the meantime, Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty are living their best lives while turning up to some dancehall classics.
