Nicki Minaj says it’s her life and she chooses to live it how she wants.
It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj has a new man because we’ve been reporting on it for weeks now and she has been posting photos of him all week long. Given how big of a star she is, her fans will start digging, and they did uncover some not so good things about her new boyfriend whose name is, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty.
One thing is for sure, Petty has a long rap sheet and has almost a dozen mugshots for various crimes from rape to manslaughter which means he may have killed someone. She has been getting hammered for his sexual offense past which requires him to register as a sex offender. Nicki Minaj noticed one comment from one of her fans who was defending Petty on her Instagram post and responded to her.
“Wait Y’all calling this man a rapist but it happened in 1994, meaning he was 16 or 17 and the girl was a 16 year old… must’ve been a white girl,” the fan wrote.
Nicki Minaj responded to the fan’s comment saying, “He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship. But go awf, internet. y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo.”
According to TMZ, Petty spent four years in New York state prison after being convicted for the sexual offense crime. He then did another seven years for shooting a man dead and getting convicted for first-degree manslaughter.
Apparently, Nicki and Petty knew each other from their hometown and have been friends over the years. “Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happens? … it’s no secret … that the both of us … are running out of time,” she captioned one of the posts on IG.
Fans on social media have been sounding off about the drama surrounding Nicki and her new man and most of the comments are not too pleasant.

I hate to say it, but after #NickiMinaj defended her brother (sex offender) and 6ix9ine (sex offender), I can't honestly say I'm surprised to hear she's now defending her new boyfriend- another sex offender. It's really, really sad.
