Ellen DeGeneres pulled an epic prank on Diddy on her show that got the entire internet laughing today. There is a lot of serious news happening this week so it’s good to see something amidst the chaotic news cycle that you can sit and laugh about uncontrollably. There have been rumors floating around that Sean “Diddy” Combs is afraid of clowns, so Ellen set out on a mission to solve the mystery.
The rap mogul sat down for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday when the talk show host asked him if he was afraid of clowns. “No. Impossible,” Diddy said. When she asked him why, he replied, “Because I’m a black man. I have so many other things to be fearful of, a clown is not going to scare me.”
In that moment, a clown dressed like Pennywise from the classic horror movie It popped out from under the side table beside Diddy, who was so frightened that he jumped out of his seat and yelled, “Oh sh*t!”
Of course, Diddy tried to play it off but the damage was already done, and the verdict is in, he is absolutely terrified of clowns. “You really affected my street cred with that, all right?” he told Ellen who jokingly asked him if he likes to dance whenever he gets scared.
