DJ Khaled significantly boost his chance to win the $1.6 billion Mega Million jackpot tonight. The We The Best Music Group chief stopped by a local convenience store in his hood in Florida and dropped ten stacks on tickets. That would equate to 5000 tickets for $2 a piece. Khaled posted a video clip on Instagram of himself at the front of the line buying his tickets. “Secure the bag alert,” he wrote.
If DJ Khaled wins the Mega Million jackpot, he can easily pocket $500 million after taxes. If one person wins the jackpot of $1.6 billion, they would get approximately $900 million and then the government will take almost half that amount in taxes. That would give you an instant net worth as much as Beyonce.
The good news for people like Khaled and all of us who bought tickets is it’s near impossible to hit the jackpot. Your chances of winning are around one in 300 million, so you do the math.
