Rygin King pours cold water on rumors of a beef with Alkaline.
The Mobay deejay is one of a slew of young acts from Jamaica’s second city who are creating waves in dancehall, but recently his name started to call on a rumored feud with Alkaline. Rygin King says it’s all bull and it’s just vloggers on YouTube spreading fake news. During another Instagram Live session with his fans, King responds to questions about the rumored beef.
“Big up every artist, Rygin King never diss no artist a [pure] vloggers out there a chat f**kry, a bere f**kry unnu a chat, which artiste?” the “Tuff” deejay said. “Me never call a artist name in a my mouth yet.”
During another Instagram Live session in August, a fan asked him about Alkaline, and he responded saying the Vendetta deejay is not in his league. “Them boy no in a we league mama,” he said at the time. “Woman yo no see a VVS pon my neck, drip drip tell me a tell you that. Yes them not in we league just believe me.”
That statement triggered a lot of chatters in dancehall circles saying that Rygin King is looking to beef with Alkaline. Some Vendetta fans were also angry and left some nasty comments on the “Legacy” deejay’s Instagram posts.
