Kendrick Lamar really snapped on Lil Wayne new song “Mona Lisa.”
If you haven’t yet heard Lil Wayne‘s new album Tha Carter V, then you are missing out on some fire new music. Kendrick Lamar is featured on the song “Mona Lisa” and if the title sound familiar that’s because a snippet of it was previously leaked online by Martin Shkreli in 2017. Snippets of the single has been floating around the internet since 2012, but this is the first time that we are hearing the full song.
“Ah, everyday she wake up with a different color make up / And I promise to go take her to the movie and the mall / Chilling with the Laker, on the floor, fourth quarter, fourth minute, on the clock, Black Mamba with the ball / Paparazzi looking at them both popping up and take a picture, uh,” K-Dot raps.
Kendrick Lamar switches up his flow a couple of times during his verse while Lil Wayne delivered a fiery and lengthy verse. Some fans on Twitter are already calling “Mona Lisa” the best song on the album, Tha Carter V. “‘Mona Lisa’ is the most fire song on the album period and don’t at me,” one fan wrote.
“My speakers be crying out for album listening to Carter V but when ‘Mona Lisa’ came out it totally destroyed them speakers, Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar owe me a new set of speaker,” another fan commented.
