Tay-K share of a new photo of himself showing him being upbeat ahead of his double murder trial.
It seems Tay-K still manages to have a phone or another electronic device in jail which could land him in more hot water. Last week, the 17-year-old rapper was placed in a maximum security prison after authorities found a cell phone in his possession. “The Race” rapper allegedly tried to hide the phone in his underwear and then when he got caught, he tried to throw it in the toilet.
As if that wasn’t enough, Tay-K was slapped with a third-degree felony charge of possession of a prohibited item. Clearly, the young rapper, who is facing a mountain of legal troubles, is upbeat and unbothered by the new charge. The photo shows the controversial rapper sitting on the floor next to a toilet with his gun fingers pointing towards the camera. “Live From the Gates of Hell #FreeMe,” he wrote in the caption. He posted the photo on both his Twitter and Instagram accounts which means he has access to the internet.
Two of Tay-K’s accomplices in his capital murder charges have cut deals with authorities to testify against the rapper, which means that his case for freedom just got a lot harder. He is facing life in prison if convicted.
