Meek Mill has shared his reaction to Nicki Minaj namedropping him on her new single “Barbie Dreams.”
It seems there is no love lost between Meek Mill and his old flame Nicki Minaj even though she is causing the rest of hip-hop to troll him on social media. In case you see Meek trending on Twitter, it’s because of two lines on Nicki’s new song “Barbie Dreams” off her new album Queen. The project has been a hot topic all day, and for good reasons, it’s packing a lot of punches.
“Meek still be in my DMs, I be having to dump him / I used to pray for times like this / Face azz when I f**k him,” the Young Money rapper spits.
The Philly rhymer posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a shocked face that he captioned with a computer and sighing face emoji. Nicki liked the post which is the first time since their breakup that she likes a post from him. Perhaps this is a sign that the two might get back together.
She also made it clear that she is not dissing the rappers mentioned in the song, so it sounds like she is just trolling them. “I only mentioned people in #BarbieDreams that I f*k wit. This isn’t a diss. Yikes. This is culture, this is BIGGIE!!!!! New York!!!! This is FUN. Light hearted fun FUN,” she tweeted.
