Tory Lanez has another gold-selling single under his belt after the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA, confirmed that his single “Shooter” sold over 500,000 copies in the United States. The Canadian singer, who is currently on tour, posted a video telling us that no one believed in the single but he still released it and now it’s golden.
“It’s lit man ‘Shooters’ just went gold, it’s lit you heard,” Tory Lanez said. “Check this sh*t out though. When I put this sh*t out, a lot of people didn’t believe in it because the song was called shooters and blah blah blah. But despite all of that I still push this sh*t. Not only is this sh*t gold going on platinum, but I got a whole Juno off of this motherf***.”
For those of you who are not Canadians, the Juno Award is the Canadian equivalent to the Grammys and Tory Lanez got one of that for the single that he says no one didn’t believe in.
