Dr. Dre hit the stage with Anderson .Paak to perform “Still D.R.E” at the “One Night Only” concert in London.
Dr. Dre is a titan in hip hop so when he takes a stage it must be for a special reason or for a special person. Anderson .Paak is currently putting the finishing touches on his new album which he promises will arrive sometime soon. This concert in London on Tuesday night is a free concert mastermind by Dr. Dre and Apple Music.
Dre wasn’t listed on the lineup for the event but he couldn’t resist taking the stage with his fellow West Coast MC Anderson .Paak to perform the classic “Still D.R.E.” at the O2 Academy Brixton in London. Watching Dr. Dre rocked the crowd just makes you want that Detox album to drop.
Speaking of “Detox,” back in January, Urban Islandz reported that Dr. Dre is reviving the age-old album and is considering releasing it sometime this year. The album has been in the works for the past decade and just when we gave up on it seeing the light of day, it’s back in the headlines. The rapper/producer has been going in the studio a lot more frequently these days while prepping the imminent release of the project.
Really nice of Anderson .Paak to bring on a fresh-faced new rap hopeful called “Dr Dre” just now at Brixton pic.twitter.com/FG2dsUjZoP
