Jordin Sparks stunned her fans on Tuesday when she revealed that she is pregnant and now a married woman.
It’s been only a couple months since she has been dating fitness model Dana Isaiah so things are moving by quickly following her very public and bitter breakup last year from Sage the Gemini. “We’re both really excited,” Sparks told PEOPLE during an interview. The couple also appears in the upcoming issue of People magazine where fans will learn more about their romance.
The couple got married in July of this year in Hawaii in front of a small group of friends. The former “American Idol” winner told People that she found out that she was pregnant back in August. Sparks first Dana’s family back in February during the Super Bowl weekend in Houston. They spoke with each other for a month before they officially met for the first time in Los Angeles.
“A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head ‘That’s going to be my husband! That’s my husband right there,'” she said. “When I’m with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren’t things that I normally felt. So it was a little wake-up call for me.”
