Capleton is pleading for the public help in recovering his stolen car with a huge catalog of unreleased music.
A rep for the reggae icon told Urban Islandz that his metallic brown Grand Vitara SUV was stolen in St. Ann yesterday. “We are appealing to anyone who can help recover the vehicle and the valuables that was left inside of it,” his rep said. “There were some unreleased music inside the van and that is even more valuable than the vehicle itself, so we are appealing to anyone who took the artist things to return it.”
The incident has been reported to the Ocho Rios police who are now investigating the theft. Capleton performed in New York City earlier this month at the famous Amazura nightclub. The deejay, who is also known as King Shango, has released twelve albums over his three decade career.
