Foxy Brown shared the first photo of her baby girl that dancehall star Spragga Benz allegedly fathered.
In March of this year, Foxy Brown suddenly gave birth to a baby girl and no one even knew she was pregnant because she is rarely seen in public these days. She never revealed the identity of her baby daddy and that triggered rumors that Spragga Benz is the father of her child. Neither of the two stars confirmed, but they did dated each other back in the early 2000s and have broken up since.
On her 39th birthday on Wednesday, Foxy Brown shared a photo of her adorable daughter with Lauryn Hill’s classic single “Zion” playing in the background. “My Gorgeous, Greatest, Gray Eyed BIRTHDAY GIFT GLORY TO GOD My GREATEST Hit Obsessively IN LOVE Forever Your Hero, MOMMY,” she captioned the photo. Back in March, Wendy Williams broke the story of Foxy Brown giving birth on her show while adding that the father is a well-known reggae star.
“Congratulations to Foxy Brown,” Williams said. “She had a baby girl. Allegedly it’s a reggae star and I’m not going to say his name because I think that me and Foxy have some sort of relationship.” Brown and Spragga Benz were engaged for two years until the dancehall legend called off the engagement in 2003 shocking the dancehall and hip hop community. At the time, Foxy was also dealing with a miscarriage and some folks blamed their breakup on that emotional turmoil.
In 2015, Foxy opened up about her relationship with Spragga Benz saying that he is the only man to ever own her heart. She said that they met in Trinidad 16 years prior and have been inseparable ever since. She described their encounter as love at first sight and called the dancehall icon her soulmate. That same year she called Ashanti thirsty for posted a photo with Spragga.
