Drake Canceled Amsterdam Show After Eating Bad Sushi

Drake had a case of bad sushi so he canceled his Amsterdam concert on Monday night.

This is the third time that Drake is cancelling a concert in Amsterdam and his fans were not happy. The woman that announced the cancellation of the show on Monday night at the Ziggo Dome had things thrown at her on stage. “I’m really sorry to tell you that tonight’s show can not take place. Drake got sick. His doctor told him not to perform,” the promoter announced.

Several party-goers posted video clips on Twitter from the incident and you can tell that fans were far from happy. Nevertheless, Drake will take the stage on Wednesday for a rescheduled how. TMZ reported that Drake was suffering from a bad case of food poisoning after eating some bad sushi in Amsterdam. The Toronto rapper seek medical attention but was still too sick to take the stage.

Some fans say they were waiting in their seats for close to an hour and a half before getting the news that the show has been canceled. Back in January, Drake cancelled two of his Amsterdam “Boy Meets World” tour gigs due to production setbacks so its no surprised that fans are so angry right now.

Drake is currently enjoying massive success with his new album More Life. The playlist debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week after selling 505,000 units in the first week of release. More Life has also broken several streaming records on Spotify and Apple Music most of which were previously held by the rapper’s previous album Views. Back in January, Drizzy promised his fans in Amsterdam that the album would be released before his next show in that City. Despite not holding that promise, he did released it before his final two concerts in the Dutch capital.
