Meek Mill has broken his silence on his arrest and assault charge on Wednesday in St. Louis.
The alleged incident took place at the St. Louis International Airport on Wednesday morning while Meek Mill and his friend Omelly were making their way to catch a flight. Meek allegedly got into a fight with two airport employees who wanted to take pictures with him but got boisterous when he refused. TMZ reported that the Philly rapper along with the two employees were charged with misdemeanor assault.
Meek Mill, who is currently on probation, has reacted to the news on Instagram saying that he is chilling in Miami inside his tour vehicle watching TV series Star. “Just stop it…… cut that internet off for a few hrs and go achieve something,” Meek wrote. “Locked in the slammer nope popped up in Miami.”
Meek Mill was later spotted in the airport lobby buying pizza before boarding a flight. There are no word yet on if when he will have to appear in court.
