Drake‘s highly anticipated new album/playlist More Life is likely to be delayed again and will arrive in March.
Last month, Drake told the crowd at his “Boy Meets World” show in Amsterdam that the album will arrive before he performed in that city again. His next performance in the Dutch capital is on February 26 and the album is still not available. Sources inside OVO told Urban Islandz that there is a slight delay once again and the project will be released on March 4.
“It should have been released this week but if you know Drake then you will know that he is a perfectionist so expect a slight delay,” sources said. “The release date is set for March 4th unless something major takes place between now and that time there will be no more delays.”
Drake fans have been on edge on social media over the last month looking for him to drop the project abruptly anytime now. But we’re told that fans will get a slight heads up before the project is released exclusively on Apple Music. Drizzy previously revealed that More Life will be a collaboration between himself and Apple and will be more like a playlist rather than an album. This week, we also learned that The Weeknd, Giggs, and Jennifer Lopez are likely to be guest featured on the project. The rumored tracklist has 8 songs which signaled that this is not your typical album and as Drake puts it, it’s a playlist.
The Toronto rapper is currently making his way across Europe with his sold out “Boy Meets World” Tour. Tonight he will be performing in Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena before moving on to Oberhausen, Germany on Saturday and then in Amsterdam on Sunday night. Knowing Drake, he might just release the album this weekend as fans step up their pressure on his camp to get the LP out.
This is what Drizzy said in Amsterdam last month while performing “Legend.”
