Rick Ross has confirmed that rap legend Nas will be making a guest appearance on his upcoming album Rather You Than Me.
Yung Renzel confirmed the album yesterday while revealing the release date is set for March 17 this year. The latest bit of information about the project came in his interview with Angie Martinez where he revealed that he and Nas are working on new music that will make it to the LP.
“Nas is definitely [on the album],” Rozay said. The two hip hop heavyweights previously worked together on “One Of Us” and “Triple Beam Dreams” which appeared on his Rich Forever project. Ross seems to be a big fan of Nas and vice versa, the MMG boss says that he gained, even more, respect for Nas when the New York rap icon named him as one of the top five lyricists in hip hop.
I am excited for another Rick Ross and Nas collaboration and I am hoping that Rozay will release it as a single before dropping the album next month. The Bawse has built an empire for himself over the last decade after stepping into the rap game with his unique flavor of hardcore rap bars about drug dealings and stacking up piles of cash. Perhaps this new single can serve as the soundtrack for the new Godfather movie that is in the works.
