Future scored a major victory in his lawsuit from his baby mama Ciara.
A judge ruled that the Atlanta rapper’s tweets are not enough evidence to damage Ciara’s career, TMZ reported. The “Body” singer is suing her baby daddy for $15 million for defamation claiming that his angry tweets damaged her career.
“This b*tch got control problems,” Future wrote on his Twitter timeline earlier this year. “I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future.” Seems the judge feels that these tweets doesn’t carry enough weight to be labeled as defamation. Ciara says in her suit that those words from her ex-fiance cost her a $500,000 endorsement deal.
The ruling doesn’t mean that the lawsuit is over for Future as Ciara will have a chance to come up with more tangible evidence. Seems the rapper is still winning the legal battle.
Future and Ciara has a son together but she is now married to NFL star Russell Wilson.
