On Monday, 2 Chainz stopped by Wendy Williams where he opened up about Bankroll Fresh’s killing outside his studio.
“He was an authentic trap rapper from Atlanta, who touched many lives,” 2 Chainz said. “It was super unfortunate, super unnecessary, super senseless. And it just made me want to step up and use my platform for more positivity.”
2 Chainz also opened up about Lil Wayne being his favorite rapper, as well as, working with the New Orleans native on ColleGrove.
“Lil Wayne is like my brother, my friend, actually my favorite rapper,” he told Wendy. “I just felt like it was time to put out a project or for somebody to just acknowledge that he had a lot to do with moving the culture to where it is now.”
