TIDAL is shaking things up in the company’s hierarchy. The artist owned music streaming company has fired its CFO, Chris Hart, and COO Nils Juell.
Since launching last year, TIDAL has already went through three CEOs.
“Tidal has terminated CFO Chris Hart and COO Nils Juell,” the company said in a statement to Complex. “As Tidal has grown into a global operation serving 46 countries we have moved our accounting and operations team to New York while our technology team and key support staff remain in Oslo.”
Back in December TIDAL appointed Jeff Toig as its new CEO making him the third person to take on the helm of the company in less than a year.
Perhaps the new shakeup is part of the reported deal between TIDAL and Samsung. Since last week there have been mounting reports suggesting that Samsung is in talks to but the music streaming service mostly owned by artists including Jay Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Kanye West and more.
