There are a lot of mysteries and speculations surrounding the untimely death of one of dancehall’s own J Capri.
The dancehall diva, real name Jordan Phillips, passed away on Friday due to complications from injuries she received in a car crash two weeks ago. But it seems that her death is raising more questions than answers.
Dancehall Reacts To J Capri Death
Her father, Kenneth Phillips, confirmed that she might have died from a bacteria infection that she contracted at the hospital.
“There are some speculations that she had a lung infection so we are trying to get the full details on that,” said Phillips.
Phillips says that the family is waiting on an autopsy result before making an official statement.
J Capri death sent shock waves throughout dancehall on Friday. She was in a medically induced coma at the time of her death.
The “Reverse It” singer met into a deadly car accident on November 22 along Barbican Road in Kingston when she lost control of her Mercedes Benz C-Class. The car crash into a wall and flipped several times before coming to an halt.
Sources told us that speeding was a factor in the deadly crash.
