Rihanna pulled the plug on her upcoming performance at the Victoria Secret fashion show in New York City next week Tuesday.
News surfaced on Monday night that the Roc Nation singer will not be performing on the show because she wants to focus on finishing her upcoming album, ANTI.

But sources are telling us that her schedule is conflicting with the performance, as well as, the song that she wants to perform on the show is not ready.
“Right now her schedule is really tight, with appearance on The Voice, various other business commitments and working on her new album,” sources close to the Bajan poop star told Urban Islandz.
“Her team had to make a conscious decision to pull out of that performance given how tight her schedule is right now,” Sources added. She (Rihanna) will also be filming a new movie in January so she is trying to also free up her schedule before then.”
Several other artists are on the roster to perform at the Victoria Secret show including The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, and Selena Gomez. The show will be broadcast on CBS on December 8th but will be taped in NYC next week Tuesday.
Rihanna recently joined the case of a new Sci-Fi movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
Last month Rihanna released the title of her new album, ANTI, and the artwork signalling that it is coming soon, although no release date was set.
The “#BBHMM” singer’s eight studio album has been in the works since last year. In addition to working on her new album, RiRi is also appearing on the new season of The Voice as a vocal coach.
Perhaps Rihanna is finally trying to deliver this project sometime soon.
