Flippa Mafia Hearing: Facing 25 Years In Federal Prison

Flippa Mafia will be back in a New Jersey court some time soon after a snowstorm delayed proceedings last week.

The flamboyant dancehall star, whose real name is Andrew Davis, has been behind bars since September 2013 after he was nabbed by US Marshals in Los Angeles after arriving in the country illegally. He was then extradited to New Jersey to face narcotics charges.

A hearing for the case was set for March five by was postponed. A new hearing date has not been set.

Flippa Mafia was charged with leading a narcotics organisation, money laundering, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

If he is found guilty of the charges he could be sentenced to 25 years to life in a federal prison.

The “Unfinished House” deejay was arrested with 13 others including his brother Kemar Davis. Six of them already pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges.

James McBride – given 16 years in state prison.
Hioka Myrie – given 3 years in state prison.
Ruan Rose – given 4 years in state prison.
Sidonie McLeod – given 5 years in state prison.
Juan Cortez – given 8 years in state prison.
