Sting Clash: Macka Diamond Concede Defeat, Lady Saw Claim Victory

Lady Saw and Macka Diamond clash was billed as one of the headlining events at Sting 30 on December 26 at Jamworld, Portmore.

The short lived clash remains one of the most talked about aspects of the show after Lady Saw destroyed her opponent in under 5 minutes on stage.

“A waste a time,” Lady Saw said before leaving the stage.

Macka Diamond accepted her defeat gracefully saying she was brave to go up against the queen.

“People must remember that when two warriors meet on the battlefield of life, anything can happen, I did my best but it never work 100 per cent but I can hold my head high, my fans and supporters feel good, dem say mi brave because everybody afraid to go up against her, and I did it,” Macka Diamond said. “Mi feel proud of myself to go up there and show courage inna the face of great odds and mi represent fi all the females in the industry and show that two top females can meet on a stage and nothing disgraceful nuh happen.”

Macka Diamond even congratulate her nemesis on her win.

“I want to congratulate Lady Saw on winning the clash, it was a great moment for dancehal and a great moment for the females in the industry, and as Beenie Man say, mi ready fi ‘dweet again,” Macka said.

Macka Diamond and Lady Saw have been unleashing a war of words against each other for the past couple of years.

But have they finally settled their differences on stage at Sting?
