Reggae band Morgan Heritage launched a successful comeback with a brand new album Here Come The King, and a slew of new charted singles.
The family of musicians sat down with Winford Williams of Onstage for a candid interview last weekend where they opened up about their comeback and the album.
The band hosted a slew of launch parties last weekend across Jamaica.
“It went better than we expected,” Peta Morgan said. “We started out on the western side in Montego Bay just did some things that no one would expect. Because going to a hotel and saying high to the staff members unexpectedly. Just doing things like that in the streets and going to El Paso Records store in Montego Bay just making the rounds… Just to be among the people and saying thank you was a big thing.”
Very down to earth reggae stars.
Morgan Heritage also talks the state of reggae music and the Jamaican government role in reggae music.
