Nicki Minaj and Peter Rosenberg finally meet face to face since that infamous incident at Hot 97 Summer Jam that caused the Young Money femcee to pull out of the concert.
Nicki Minaj stopped by the Hot 97 studio yesterday for an interview with Rosenberg. Rosenberg delivered a lengthy apology to Nicki and her barbz (fans).
Nicki Minaj said its all “water under the bridge” for her and she has moved on from the incident.
“It’s cool. It’s water under the bridge,” Nicki Minaj said. “It’s so long ago. I can’t even act like I care anymore. I don’t care. I really don’t, but I appreciate you guys having me here…This is the thing, in hindsight I should have just did the show because I’ve never allowed anyone to—no matter what I’ve gone through personally or whatever professionally, I’ve never allowed that to make me let my fans down. And even if it wasn’t a Nicki Minaj fan, just a fan in general, somebody that was there that paid to see the show. I think in hindsight I should have just came out. Because it’s my hometown especially…I apologize for not coming out and doing the show because they had nothing to do with that.”
Nicki Minaj caused quite a stir last year summer when she abruptly cancelled her performance at last minute as a result of Rosenberg comment about his “Starships” mega hit single.
Her fans aggressively chastised Rosenberg and Hot 97.
