Dancehall/graffiti artist LA Lewis was arrested last week for allegedly manufacturing and distributing fake drinks.
LA Lewis, born Howard Lewis, was taken into custody along with another person for running a fake drink manufacturing plant. Both men were charged or breaches of the Trade Marks and Copyright Acts.
According to reports, members of the Organized Crime Investigation Division, OCID, picked up the two men during a raid on a warehouse in downtown Kingston. Police officers say the drink factory was being operated under unsanitary conditions.
Police say they also seized fake pharmaceutical products.
LA Lewis, who is out on bail, has since denied the allegation.
