Nicki Minaj stole the spotlight at today’s announcement of the 2011 American Music Awards nominees.
The Harajuku Barbie rocked a blue-and-blonde wig, floral bra, flowy skirt, and ruffled green jacket at the JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles earlier today.
The new reigning queen of Hip-hop was joined by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull for the announcement of the nominees. Minaj got her first nominations for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for her debut Pink Friday.
The 39th annual show will air live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 20.
