Head of promotion company Hype 2K11, Ewan McRee, is threatening to sue Portmore Empire boss Vybz Kartel for a no show.
According to McRee, Kartel failed to show up for a show he was booked for last year for unknown reasons.
“He never showed up for the event last year and until now he didn’t give me a reason as to why,” McRee told Irie FM radio. “I made numerous attempts to retrieve the money and he said that he does not return money so I have to use another date. I waited for a whole year and a half for the date to come around and still couldn’t reach an agreement to get the money. So my lawyers will be sending him a formal letter requesting the fees for these services.”
Vybz Kartel has been tight lipped on the allegations.
