Ja Rule Begins Two Years Prison Sentence

Ja Rule turned himself over to authorities on Wednesday (June 8th) to begin serving his two-year prison sentence in New York.

The former Murder Inc rapper appeared at a courthouse early Wednesday after spending time with his family and close friends.

According to TMZ, Rule final words before entering the building were,

“Real life is a fantasy, f#+k fame… I’m ready for this to get over with. I am focused.”

Ja Rule sentence stems from an arrest made in 2007 after he left a concert at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. After pulling over his car, police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the vehicle. Ja Rule was charged with illegal possession of firearm.
