Dancehall veteran Spragga Benz, who is wanted for questioning by the Jamaican police, is confirmed as not a suspect in any criminal case.
According to the deejay lawyers, Benz is off the island since April 14th of this year fulfilling contractual commitments.
In a release to the media, the deejay’s lawyers said they met with the head of the Major Investigation Taskforce and the Elletson Road Police Station, it was formally established that he is not an official suspect in any criminal matter.
The release also stated that, the attorneys were able to reach an agreement with the police. Benz is to meet with the police at the earliest mutually convenient time to address any questions or concerns which they may have.
Initial reports suggests that Spragga was wanted by officers in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 22 this year.
