Lisa Hyper is the latest dancehall artist to lend their talent to charitable cause.
Hyper will help raise funds for the Ocho Rios Police Youth Club in St Ann. She will be a featured act during the club’s annual fund raising event on July 9, 2011, at the Priory Beach in St Ann’s Bay in the parish.
Hyper said in a press release: “When they approached me, I thought it would be a good idea to give my services because the proceeds from the event will go towards feeding the homeless in and around the town of Ocho Rios, treats at the children’s ward at the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital and towards various educational and environmental projects.”
“We need to make this country a better place to live, work and play,” Hyper added.
Lisa Hyper scored a major hit last year with Bills featuring Gaza Kim, the song peaking at #3 on HYPE TV Top 20 charts. She is now signed to N Da Dark Productions. She just signed an endorsement deal with Nit Ra Sit Originals, a New York-based clothing company.
