Hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is celebrating Black History Month in style when he creates some of his own.
The hip hop artist/producer and entrepreneur was recently named one of the largest minority-owned business in New York.
According to reports, Diddy Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group is the third largest minority-owned business in the state of New York. Bad Boy Entertainment is involved in a wide range of business activity, from music publishing, artist management and TV and film production, to apparel (Sean John) and restaurants.
In a release by allhiphop, Combs said, “It is an incredible honor to be included among the top three minority owned companies in New York City time and time again. Hard work, determination and an unfettered desire to succeed helped me build this company to what it is today.”
Diddy’s Bad Boy Wordwide Entertainment rakes in over $300,000 million annual. He said that his biggest goal was to continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.
“I hope to serve as an example and inspire anyone with a dream to dream bigger and know that they can achieve their goals,” said Diddy.
Combs will be honored this weekend by hundreds of executives in Los Angeles during Grammy Weekend.
