According to reports, Knight was spotted around a Los Angeles restaurant Friday evening.
Authorities say rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant as he left a restaurant near Universal Studios outside Los Angeles. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt.
Shawn Ruda says Knight was released about an hour after his arrest early Saturday. Ruda tells the Los Angeles Times that Knight was stopped by deputies, who ran his name through computers and discovered he was wanted on a minor traffic warrant issued recently in Beverly Hills.
A $40,000 bench warrant was issued for Suge’s arrest on November 23 for failing to show up to court in Los Angeles for two traffic tickets.
The tickets stem from a September 23 traffic stop, where Knight was stopped for running a stop sign, and was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
