The 12 member panel of Jury in the highly publicized Buju Banton trial, just moments ago told judge Jim Moody that they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
After three long days of deliberation the jury called it quite today, to make way for a new trial. Judge Moody is not amused and appeared as if he wanted to send back the jury for more deliberation.
But, Buju Banton lawyer Markus applied for bail for his client, which is expected to be granted some time today.
So it appeared Buju will be free from behind bars for the first time in 10 long months.
