Reggae artist Spragga Benz new album Shotta Culture is now available on itunes.
The 17-track album was released on itunes on Tuesday with 11 high quality music videos and a full length documentary.
The album also features a multitude of collaborations with artistes like Stephen Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Swizz Beats, Jazmine Sullivan, Nas, Wayne Wonder, Sizzla Kalonji and Queen Ifrica.
According to Spragga, “Shotta Culture is geared at taking dancehall reggae back to the foundation of reggae music, back to the real sound of authentic reggae.”
What Spragga have to say about the album:
“The title speaks for itself. We just want more life, less negativity. We trying to put a more positive image on dancehall ’cause over the past few months a just pure negativity,” Spragga Benz told Urban Islandz.
“We a try see how far dem ago push the positive that we send, ’cause we see how far dem push the negativity. This is quality stuff and we feel the message can really connect with everybody,” the artist said.
