Reggae superstar Gyptian is at it again, this time with a brand new video shoot for the second single on his latest studio album ‘Nah Let Go’,
Gyptian is not only fast becoming an international reggae icon, but is also gaining popularity among local Jamaican and Caribbean fans, as the video shoot drew a huge crowd of onlookers.
The shoot was done in Caymanas Bay just outside Kingston. Popular music video director Ras Kassa who happens to also done two previous video for Gyptian directed the cut.
In the video, a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ scenario is played out in which Gyptian and his female partner go on a robbery spree and make their escape. The situation gets intense and Gyptian loves his girl so much that he doesn’t want her to be involved any longer, so he tries to run off to keep her out of trouble with the law.
“It’s got a Caribbean vibe to it, not your typical reggae video, a nice Caribbean feeling,” said Gyptian in an interview.
The video will premiere next Friday in Jamaica.
