Rihanna is the first musician to reached that milestone.
“I can confirm Rihanna has broken the 4 billion views mark across the full VEVO platform,” a rep for Vevo confirmed with EntertainmentWise.
“In celebration of her milestone VEVO are also airing an hour of Rihanna’s videos on VEVO TV at 4pm EST/9pm BST today (although this is US and Canada only at the moment, VEVO TV is launching in the UK later this year).”
