Do you think India Arie bleached her skin.
Soul singer India Arie is almost unrecognizable on her new single cover.
The 31-year-old singer came under fire last week when she release the official cover for her new single “Cocoa Butter.”

Immediately Twitter blew up alleging that Arie lightened her skin tone. However, the singer denied the allegations saying its merely a product of good lighting.
“Personally speaking! i’m happy to say I have NOT BLEACHED my skin LOL! ROTF at the thought,” India Arie tweeted.
“1. I wouldn’t endanger my health that way 2. i’m so in love with myself I have no DESIRE to BLEACH myself. 3. The GLOW you see IS (magnificent) lighting 4. THE LIGHT you see, Well thats all ME!!” she added on Twitter.
Sources also told TMZ, the lighting was responsible for the lighter skin tone in the photo.
“The criticism is ridiculous … because the “lightened” skin is merely the product of the camera flash and angle. India never asked to be lightened,” the source said.
But wouldn’t she have to approve the photo and see it is not a true reflection of herself?

She clearly look lighter in the photo and yes she must see it before it release. SMH
And if she bleach her skin that is her business it’s her body she can do what ever she wants with it!
I know for a fact that light does that in photography.
