Michael Rainey Jr. shared that he tried to take Lil Meech under his wings to mentor him with his acting career.
As you might’ve already known, Lil Meech and his father Big Meech had a huge falling out with 50 Cent after they angered the rapper turn TV mogul by linking up with his opp Rick Ross. Fifty has proven to us that it doesn’t matter who you are, even if you’re a mafia boss, don’t cross him.
It appears Big Meech, real name Demetrius Flenory, didn’t get the memo and has now found himself on the wrong side. 50 Cent isn’t just going after the elder Meech, but also his son, Lil Meech, who stars in the TV series, BMF, on Starz. Fifty hinted that he would pull the plug on the show, forcing Lil Meech to plead with him to overlook his father’s oversight for linking up with Rick Ross.
Power Book II: Ghost star Michael Rainey Jr., who has in the past had a social media spat with Lil Meech, appears to have sided with 50 Cent. The actor, who played Tariq St. Patrick, reacted to a photo that Meech posted of himself with Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather.
“Man what the hell [laughing emojis],” Rainey Jr. wrote while resharing the photo on his Instagram Story.
The actor also responded to a fan comment by suggesting that he tried to help Meech with his acting career. “U should took Lil Meech under your wing,” the fan wrote, to which Rainey Jr. responded, “Tried to to he wanted to be big bro so bad smh.”

While Lil Meech is a newcomer to acting with his first role being the lead in BMF, his father, Michael Rainey Jr. is a veteran in his own right. The 24-year-old actor started acting when he was only ten years old with his first major role being in the film, UN ALTRO MUNDO. He went on to land early roles in Barbershop 3, 211, and LUV.
