Meek Mill got some fire music coming for the summer.
It’s been well over six months since Meek Mill dropped his new album Championships, but it seems like he is ready to deliver another project on us. The Philly rapper has been having quite a year both on the music front and his regular life. Last week, he learned that he is about to get a new court hearing with a new judge, which is the best news of his life. The new hearing could pave the way for him to have his parole dismiss and subsequently allowing him to freely travel and do other things that he would otherwise require permission from the controversial judge overseeing his case.
Legal issues aside, Meek Mill appears to be ready to drop some new music. Yesterday (June 7), he told his fans on Twitter that he might have some heat coming their way. “I gotta get y’ all a [fire] pack for the summer, he tweeted.
I gotta get y’all a ???? pack for the summer ?????

The news comes when there is a lot of activities happening on the music front. Last night, Drake and Chris Brown dropped off their highly anticipated new collaboration, “No Guidance.” We also saw new albums from Future and Tyga dominating the airwaves.
It appears that Meek Mill doesn’t want to be left out of the fun. This is some great time for hip hop as we see a lot of artists blossom into global stars. The Dreamchaser rapper has come into his own and is now using his platform for criminal justice reform. We also saw JAY-Z becoming the first billionaire rapper and Rihanna becoming the richest woman in music.
