The Game went full throttle after Tory Lanez over his Tupac comparison, and now the singer has responded.
Tory Lanez has been comparing himself to Tupac Shakur, and just this week he compared Tekashi 6ix9ine to the late rap legend. The rainbow-haired rapper released an album last week that debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart this week. The Canadian singer/rapper says the only other rapper to release successful albums from prison is the late great 2Pac. Of course, other rappers have done that, but for Lanez, 69 is perhaps the closest thing to the West Coast rap icon who was murdered in 1996.
Another West Coast legend, The Game, found the comparison offensive and decided to speak out about it. The Documentary rapper posted a video clip on Instagram calling out all the other rappers who have been making Tupac comparisons.
Tory Lanez jump on his Twitter page to let The Game knows that he needs to get up off his package. “I did not compare 6ix9ine to 2 Pac,” he tweeted. “I just said they both dropped big albums from jail at the level of fame that they had. Get off my dick.”
